Our priority is your welfare at Vestrum Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Vestrum Ultrasound for Women – the health and safety of our patients and our team come first.
These are the actions we are taking to ensure your health and safety and to minimise the chance of you and our team being infected by COVID-19.
We ask for your cooperation by following the instructions below:
On arrival please sanitise your hands; wearing a mask is now optional.
Please minimise the number of support people attending the obstetric, gynaecology or ultrasound appointment with you.
Where possible, please avoid bringing children to the appointment.
We have removed toys and magazines from our waiting room so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle and any favourite toy or book for your child.
Do not attend if you:
have cold/viral/flu symptoms – see description below*,
are a close contact of a known COVID-19 case,
or any close contact are currently awaiting a COVID-19 test result.
If you are unable to fulfill these requirements, we will need to reschedule your appointment to another time.
What to do if you cannot attend:
Please ring us to change your appointment and we will accommodate you as best we can. While we understand this delay may cause stress to some patients, it is an unavoidable restriction necessary to minimise the chance of other patients and staff contracting COVID-19.
We understand that the rules appear to keep changing and sometimes this may seem unfair or unwanted however it is always done with the health and safety of all in mind. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding in helping our staff maintain a safe environment.
Kind regards,
Dr Andrea Liddiard
Clinical Director
